As a five time medalist in Swimming I certainly understand the need to train and be coached and the concept of Passion. Rarely in life does one meet leaders who are real. WarriorSage.  Well, I’ll tell you this.  My life was really going nowhere.  I was pretty stagnant.  I had a good job. But for the most part, I had a feeling, in my relationship with my wife, my relationship with my children and in my career, that I was just really going nowhere, and even doing a little back-sliding. 

So I decided to go to this WarriorSage Intro – Sex, Passion & Enlightenment – and one of the things I saw at the Intro was that this guy was speaking my language. I really liked the fact that it wasn’t this New Age flowery, feminine language that seemed to be at all these other intros and seminars that I attended.  So that got my attention and I decided, all right, I’ll give away one of my weekends and go to the Sex, Passion & Enlightenment Intensive. 

I go there and, and learn a lot of good stuff, but there was one thing said by the facilitator, Satyen, that I really thought was, well, rather ludicrous. He said if you do some of these practices you will double your income. And I thought, double my income, well, I think I make a pretty good living and it’s not easy to double my income.  I thought, all right; I am going to prove this guy wrong. I’ll do everything he says, I’ll be able to come back to him a year later and show him that, you know, it takes more than just some silly exercises from a seminar to double my income.

I did those exercises faithfully for a year, and as I predicted, I did not double my income… I tripled it instead.  And since then it has doubled even more. 

It turns out those exercises weren’t so silly after all.  They were exercises that made me a deeper man, helped me find my purpose, and helped me grow up. 

So, I have to tell you, it’s amazing what happens when you do some of the basic work that WarriorSage starts off with.  I have done a lot more stuff with WarriorSage, taken many of their seminars, gone on their Spiritual Adventure Journey to Peru, which was life changing for me.  If you are a man and you want to be more, you want to be the best man you can be, this is the place to start. WarriorSage.

That’s a tall order for many folks. I thought I had an advantage, having been in many, many seminars, courses, education, service and more. Not so! It was a reminder that there is always more growth available! And it was a blessing on so many levels. The theme in all WarriorSage trainings comes down to being open and loving, in any circumstance. Satyen is my friend, mentor and brother. He is an authentic, powerful and profound guide. I describe him to folks as a combination of drill sergeant, guru and goofball all rolled into one! Before WarriorSage, my life was good, my relationship was good, my career was good, generally, everything was “good”.  My life looked something like a typical “New Age” experience.  Good, yet not GREAT.  What was really happening was that I was not dealing with my stuff or being my authentic self.  My wife was resentful yet not hostile.  The energetic spice was missing.  I was not giving my gifts fully.

I am somewhat of a veteran of personal development retreats and workshops, and as a psychotherapist a purveyor of such. When I witnessed a potentially problematic psychological situation that might endanger a participant's emotional well-being, I noticed that Satyen, Suzanne, and the Warrior Sage support staff mediated the situation skillfully so that no one was harmed, humiliated, or compromised, though everyone was challenged to reach for their growing edge as much as possible. I have consistently witnessed this in many other events I have since attended.

Since that first Sex, Passion & Enlightenment weekend, I have attended the WarriorSage Illumination Intensive, Living from Truth, and Living Ecstasy events, and am delighted to be part of the Goddess Unveiled group. I have committed myself to the Path of the WarriorSage and often invite others to find out about WarriorSage events themselves, so they may become better lovers of themselves and others, so they may more productively serve their highest purpose.

Growing up I was exposed to spiritual traditions and teachings and always encouraged within my family to “believe in myself” yet I was surrounded by failure and pain.
