Many Years ago when I was 12 years old, one of my Teachers asked me to memorize this creed – I didn’t really want to as it was long yet I’m so glad now that it’s part of how I live.
All WarriorSage Apprentices are required to know this as well – let it in and enjoy the gifts it brings to yourself and others…. Blessings and Love….
I would rather see an example than to hear one any day
I would rather one could walk with me, than merely tell the way
For the eye is a better pupil, more willing than the ear
Fine counsel is confusing, yet example is always clear
I can watch your hands in action, yet your tongue too fast may run
I can soon learn how to do it, if I only see it done
For best of all, the teachers are, the ones who live their creed, for seeing good in action is what everybody needs
I may misunderstand you and the high advice you give, yet there’s no misunderstanding how you act and how you live
Many Loving Incarnations Together
Thursday, April 16th, 2009This morning my beloved Son Shaman (sitting next to me as I write this), shared that he wishes to have millions of reincarnations with me.
How sweet, beautiful and heart fulfilling to a Dad like me to hear and feel such Love.
We’ve been homeschooling (really un-schooling) our children this year and it’s had its challenges and Blessings.
Shaman as part of his “Padawan” preparation trains Martial Arts 5-6 days a week. He also practices “Inner Work” to mature his inherent qualities.
Obviously my proud father bit is being displayed here (yeahhhh Dads) yet what the heck-100000000’s of Reincarnations he wishes to have with me!?
Just to know he gets what reincarnation is and can feel that wide beyond this life and wants to arise as a bonded being with me is so pure and delightful from one so young.
I’m counting my Blessings today and am so close to what is real – Thanks Shaman

No School Boxes
Friday, April 10th, 2009I had the most beautiful time with my Family last night. As my kids are unschooled, it allows us to really flow with what the Universe has in store for us without being boxed in. The courage to break out of restriction and the common current of society’s expectation brings clarity of Family values and Life’s secret offerings… what will you let go of that is “traditional” yet cramping your evolution?
Where are you boxed in because that’s the way you were raised?
Where do you feel your evolution is yearning to break out of society’s stifling molds – come on, take a dare!
